COMMUNITY & VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT
Ronda is a candidate for Gwinnett County State Court Judge. She is a mother, wife and a small business owner. As an attorney, Ronda Colvin Leary is dedicated to serving the public both in and outside the courtroom. She is a compassionate and committed community volunteer believing in giving back to the community and achieving justice for all.
Ronda serves as a board member for STEP BY STEP RECOVERY, Inc. a recovery community teaching people how to stay clean and change old ways by learning new behaviors. The program provides a safe, structured, living environment as well as services for the homeless, recovering alcoholics and addicts. These step by step services help them reach their goals and achieve self-sufficiency.
Ronda is a member of the LIONS CLUB OF LAWRENCEVILLE. The Lawrenceville Lions Club has been a Beacon of Light in Lawrenceville for 65 years by serving individuals and families with vision and hearing issues. As an organization they continue to find new ways to help individuals and organizations such as the Lawrenceville co-op Ministry, The Special Needs School in Lawrenceville, Boy Scout Troop 54, and the Hi-Hope Service Center. They also support several Lions projects, including, The Georgia Lions Lighthouse, The Georgia Lions Camp for the Blind, Leader Dog for the Blind, Southeastern Guide Dogs, Canine Companion for Independence, Learning Ally, Georgia Unit, and Camp Kudzu for Diabetic Children.
Ronda is a volunteer with DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (DIR). Diamond In The Rough (DITR), is an award winning, faith-based, non-denominational, youth development and leadership program. It offers a variety of preventative programs and enrichment activities designed to build self-esteem, character, and leadership. Its mission is to provide preparation, inspiration, nurturing and knowledge to girls ages 4-18 through group mentoring, leadership training, career coaching and family enrichment activities.
Ronda is the membership Chairperson for the ROTARY CLUB OF EMORY DRUID HILLS The Rotary Club of Emory-Druid Hills unites leaders from all walks of life, amplifying their individual contributions to make our community and the world a better place to live and work. The sole purpose of the organization is to improve the quality of life in their community through passionate service to others.
Ronda is the founder and managing partner of COLVIN LEARY LAW GROUP, LLC which focuses on Criminal law, Juvenile law, Contracts and Personal Injury law. Attorney Colvin Leary believes that people in the community should know their legal rights. To achieve this attorney Colvin-Leary sponsors and hosts free community law clinics throughout the county. Ronda participates in numerous other events, forums, career days, etc.
